A fine lavender powder used to achieve various shades of blue glaze, depending on the concentration. A less potent colorant but easier to use than cobalt oxide. Approximate substitution ratio is two parts cobalt oxide to three parts cobalt carbonate. Can produce purples when blended with manganese.
