Frosted Turquoise is an opaque gray-blue glaze that appears to crackle over deep blue but has a smooth, satiny surface. This glaze is a great, detailed surface decoration for subtle, simple forms. Frosted Turquoise benefits from a heavy application to achieve its color breaking effect. The glaze color is susceptible to variation due to iron fuming from nearby pots in firing.
