An all-purpose red body, with 7.5% medium grog, for wheel work and hand-building. Fires to a light red at ∆06, gradually getting darker and a deeper red at higher temperatures. At ∆6, fires to a dark reddish-brown. This versatile body is a favorite of schools and clay artists.
Firing range is cone 06 to cone 6

Shrinkage at cone 06 is 4.7% and at cone 6 is 10.2%

Absorption at cone 06 is 10.8% and at cone 6 it is 0.0%
