- A Tennessee Ball Clay from Old Hickory Clay Company. Volunteer is primarily used in pottery clay bodies. A versatile clay selection for casting, pressing, or plastic forming process methods. Volunteer has very good plasticity and is an excellent selection in ceramic formulas requiring a fine particle size distribution ball clay.
