Teapot Tuesday with Marion Angelica

This hand-built teapot by Minneapolis based ceramic artist Marion Angelica ushers us into Teapot Tuesday! Known for her fluid porcelain forms, this particular teapot is sure to impress, drawing the viewer's eye in, moving continually from line to line.  

In an interview from January 2013 with Local Artist Interviews, a blog featuring Minnesota based artist, Marion Angelica was asked what advise she had for other artists.  She said this, "I did not get this advice directly, but this quotation has been a very strong influence on my studio practice.  Chuck Close said, 'Inspiration is for amateurs.  Artists just go to the studio and work every day.' ".
